Superformula helps MGM Resorts win big at Global Gaming Awards

(Las Vegas).- MGM Rewards, MGM Resorts’ reimagined loyalty program, has been named the Customer Loyalty Program of the Year at the 2022 Global Gaming Awards. In February 2022, MGM Resorts launched the new program streamlining its loyalty rewards across 20+ properties nationwide delivering enhanced benefits for millions of non-gaming and gaming members.

In claiming the Customer Loyalty Program of the year award, MGM Rewards—formerly known as M life Rewards—excelled over established heavyweights like Caesar’s Rewards and Draft Kings Dynasty Rewards, as well as newcomers like Genting Rewards by Resort Worlds. While resort guests, industry leaders, and rewards-focused travel bloggers lauded the expansion of the MGM Rewards program itself, an all-new digital membership experience has been the key to delighting visitors, driving innovation, and delivering results.

How Superformula contributed

The MGM Rewards digital membership platform includes completely redesigned desktop, mobile web, and native mobile app experiences (see how we build with Flutter). Superformula leads cross-platform design and development efforts for MGM Rewards, playing a central role both in bringing the new program to market and in continuing to grow its market presence through innovation.

While over 100 C-level industry executives voted on the award, it’s the guests themselves who have repeatedly validated the quality of the experience by growing their approval of and engagement with MGM Rewards:

  • Doubled year-over-year traffic to the MGM Resorts app
  • Increased MGM Rewards active user base by 14% over previous year
  • Increased NPS scores among high-status members
