Summary
Superformula helped to improve MGM Resorts’ hotel guest check-in by enhancing the mobile app and reducing the number of screens required to check-in to a room.
The primary issue with the existing mobile app check-in was that guests had to navigate through several screens to complete the check-in process. This was causing frustration and delays, which ultimately affected the overall guest experience.
To address these issues, we decided to focus on reducing the number of screens required to complete check-in while also simplifying the app's user interface. The new design eliminated unnecessary screens and streamlined the process, from 17 to 7 screens in the flow, an 83% reduction. With 1.1M check in per year, that’s over 4M minutes saved.
